"MICKEY", U-AGI Mickey Mouth Von Funk, OA, NAJ, demonstrates how small yorkies are in comparison to the other dogs while doing the long sit exercise. "MICKEY" is owned by Debbie Funk.
"SIDNEY", owned by Dorie Madsen is shown taking his first leg in the novice class with a score of 196. This was the first time both Dorie and "SIDNEY" were in the obedience ring.
"PARKER" is owned and trained by Deb Nendell and won HIGHEST SCORING DOG IN TRIAL from the Novice B class with a score of 195 at his very first trial. Please take note, Dr. Fitzpatrick of Animal Planets "Emergency Vets" is in the picture lurking in the background.

Above is a beautiful picture of "JESSIE". "JESSIE" finished her CD title at the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America Show held in February - 2000 in New York City with a 4th Place in Novice B.
LEFT: "BEAU", Marquis Leaders' Beaumont, CD, CGC is shown finishing his CD (he is owned by Lauren Galia and shown by her daughter Tami, then a junior handler). "BEAU" and Tami teamed up to win Best Junior Handler 8 times and in 1995 he earned a score of 196.5 in obedience winning Highest Scoring Toy Dog in Trial and 2nd Place in Novice A Obedience.

"SPENCE" earned his CD title in Wichita on Saturday, April 8,2000!! And he earned it in style, with a score of 199 tieing for High In Trial (but losing the run-off)!!
RALLY OBEDIENCE is the AKC performance event of the future. Where the Agility concept was taken from Grand Prix jumping, Rally Obedience takes after road rally’s where checkpoints tell you your next move. This is a fast paced fun packed kind of obedience that’s catching on like wild fire and is absolutely perfect for the way our yorkies like to work. The course changes with each trial as it does in agility and you can talk to you dog throughout the exercises and encourage them on.
A RALLY OBEDIENCE course was set-up at the October Yorkie National Specialty Perfomance Day and everyone had a chance to see it and run their dogs through. Below are some pictures from this event
